A Brief History
A born and bred Alaskan, I spent a majority of my life skiing, chasing moose and building igloos. When college rolled around, I decided to become a Southern transplant and traded my snowpants and BunnyBoots for seersucker and Sperry's. I credit growing up in Alaska, around such beautiful landscapes, for the creation of my love of photography. However, during college, my attention turned from landscapes and nature to weddings and engagements. I have been fortunate enough to photograph in California, Hawaii, Alaska, across the Southeast and even Italy! While I can still be found trudging through the wilderness from time to time with my tripod over my shoulder, I'm now that guy with the abnoxiously bright pastel Polo's photographing happy couples wherever they may be!
My Philosophy
Someone once told me that I was the most relaxed and least stressed person they had ever met. I took that to heart and realized that life was way too short to waste time being stressed, so I try and create a stress-free environment for my clients. While some may see that as common sense, truth is, a wedding weekend can be stressful. The last thing I want is for my clients to be worried! The most natural and epic photos occur when couples are comfortable in front of the lens. I like to balance professionalism with a little...okay...A LOT of fun. I love what I do and I thank God everyday for giving me this gift.
